Our Honors Leadership III students have created and shared their Capstone Projects and the impact they will leave at OLMA. These initiatives reflect the passion, creativity, and drive of our young women as they work to make a positive impact on our school and community. Learn more by checking out their projects below. Catalyst created by Holly Salmon

  • Girls Council in partnership with the Alice Paul Institute of Gender Justice.
  • Studying female role models to encourage speaking up and standing firmly in beliefs.
  • An emphasis on advocacy, self-expression, and developing a strong personal voice.

Circle of Sunshine Club created by Danielle Amato

  • The Circle of Sunshine Club supports the OLMA community by sending baskets to those experiencing hardships such as illness, surgery, or loss, or to show appreciation.
  • Each grade has a student representative, along with a teacher, so members can reach out to someone they trust for support and connection.

Colors of Our Sisterhood created by Laney Yates

  • Bring color, creativity, and inspiration to the walls of OLMA, transforming school spaces into a reflection of student voice and spirit.
  • Brighten and rejuvenate the halls and classrooms, creating a more welcoming and uplifting environment.
  • Show pride in our sisterhood by designing meaningful visuals that celebrate unity, leadership, and identity at OLMA.

Kairos at OLMA created by Erin McGonigle

  • Peaceful and faithful student-led retreat for upper classmen.
  • Small groups encouraging open conversations about personal and deep topics.
  • Learn and discuss how to incorporate and deepen faith into our lives.
  • Day-long retreat at St. Raphaela Center in Haverford, PA.

Leader Within Her created by Alexis Elton

  • A middle school workshop for 6th–8th grade girls that teaches foundational leadership qualities.
  • Focusing on the transition to high school, encouraging girls to use their unique strengths to create success.
  • They will have the opportunity to practice communication skills that help create and maintain professional relationships.

OLMA's Backstage created by Mia Mauriello

  • Creating a dedicated theater and prop closet to support OLMA’s theater community.
  • Will provide organized storage and a designated area for makeup & hair for musicals and tech week, reducing stress and helping the cast and crew feel supported and appreciated.
  • Establishing a permanent home for the theater program.

Outfit, Lending, Management, Attire created by Rose DelCamp

  • A free closet offering semi-formal, prom, and professional attire for students.
  • Promotes sustainability, eases financial stress, and helps girls feel confident.
  • Clothing is organized by size and returned after use, supporting needs like Junior Mock Interviews and school dances.

Rooted in Sisterhood created by Grace Walls

  • Restoration of OLMA’s “Sister Marie Pierre Greenhouse” into a calming, multifunctional space.
  • The project includes exterior and interior cleaning, painting, landscaping, organizing, and adding seating and lighting for events.
  • Winter Poinsettia Sale helping to fund the restoration.

Villa Volumes created by Evangeline Catanese

  • An OLMA Library that is open to all members of the OLMA community.
  • A place to access free books and broaden knowledge.
  • Specific sections for school books so that girls can borrow instead of buying their own.
