"Summer at the Village" captures the spirit of Our Lady of Mercy Academy! OLMA extends a warm invitation to middle school girls and our incoming 9th grade students to partake in a variety of exciting adventures through immersive, hands-on camps. With options spanning STEM, various sports, the arts, and the encompassing Villager Experience, there's something to captivate every camper's interest. Our flexible scheduling accommodates campers with diverse interests, enabling them to participate in multiple camps and customize their own one-of-a-kind summer experience. Lunch is included with registration for both a morning and afternoon camp.

NEW! Theatre Camp

Join us for a dynamic four-day experience filled with performance, creativity, and confidence-building! This theatre camp invites campers to explore the foundational skills of acting, singing, and movement in a fun and supportive environment. Whether experienced performers or brand new to the stage, campers will grow in confidence while learning what it takes to bring a performance to life.
The week will culminate in a cabaret-style showcase on Thursday where campers will perform for family and friends and celebrate all they’ve accomplished. Girls entering grades 5–9 may register.
Art Camp

Join us for a four-day creative experience combining general art projects with hands-on ceramics. Campers will explore a variety of materials and techniques while also learning foundational clay skills such as hand-building and introductory wheel work. Each student will create original pieces from start to finish in a fun, supportive studio environment. Due to the drying and firing process required for ceramics, participants may return to campus at a later date for a glazing session to complete their work.
Art Camp is the perfect space to try something new, build confidence, and create artwork to be proud of. Girls entering grades 5–9 may register.
Build & Code Robotics

From Parts to Program - Engineering a Working Robot! This hands-on STEM camp immerses students in the full engineering design process as they design, build, wire, and program their own working robot. Campers will assemble components, connect and troubleshoot electronics, write code to control movement and sensors, and test and refine performance through engaging challenges and friendly competition.
Students don’t just learn about robotics - they experience what real engineers and programmers actually do. All students will leave camp on the final day with their own robot to keep and use for future explorations! Girls entering grades 5-9 may register.
Villager Experience

CANCELLATION POLICY
We understand that plans may change, and in the event a student needs to cancel her registration, please refer to the policy outlined below. Requests for cancellation must be made via email to summer@olmanj.org.
- Before May 1: Cancellation requests received by May 1 will be eligible for a full refund.
- After May 1: Cancellation requests are eligible for a refund, minus a $25 administrative fee.
- Two weeks prior to the start of camp: Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the camp start date may be eligible for a refund if there is a waiting list for the camp, minus the $25 administrative fee. In certain circumstances, such as medical emergencies or injury, exceptions to the policy will be considered. Documentation supporting the reason for cancellation will be required.
- Should Our Lady of Mercy be forced to cancel a camp for any reason, a full refund will be issued.
