At Our Lady of Mercy Academy, we are committed to fostering confident, compassionate student leaders.
Our Mentoring Program pairs senior mentors with incoming students to help ensure a smooth and supportive transition into high school life. This peer-to-peer approach provides new students with a familiar face, a trusted guide, and a sense of belonging from day one.
An OLMA Mentor plays an active role throughout the school year, participating in key events such as the Kick-Off Welcome Event, Sisterhood Mass & Ceremony, and a variety of Sisterhood Activities designed to strengthen community and build lasting bonds.
Mentors play a vital role in helping our new students navigate academics, extracurriculars, and the social dynamics of high school. At the same time, mentors themselves grow as leaders, strengthening their communication, empathy, and problem-solving skills. The program reflects our core values of wisdom, mercy, unity and courage in action.
