Ambassadors

The Student Ambassador program is a leadership opportunity for students who are dedicated to serving and representing Our Lady of Mercy Academy.

The Ambassadors are made up of a group of sophomores, juniors, and seniors who apply to be a part of the program and can commit fully to our meeting/event schedule.  The program serves to enrich and enhance the leadership and communication skills & personal growth of its student members, while creating an alliance of spirited students who help advance the recruitment activities and the community involvement of the school.

 

Over the course of the year, Student Ambassadors may participate in the following activities:

  • Prepare materials for school visits, fairs, admissions events

  • Prepare for, attend and help present at school visits and fairs

  • Provide campus tours for prospective families 

  • Guide shadows throughout the year

  • Assist with agenda for Group Shadow Day and Open House

  • Serve as greeters and tour guides at Back to School Night

  • Serve as greeters and tour guides at Open House

  • Participate in Admitted Students Day in Spring 

  • Participate in the 5th, 6th & 7th grade Villager Experience program in the summer

  • Help distribute posters/lawn signs to appropriate locations on and around the campus and in local communities as needed
