Dr. Jon-Mark Grussenmeyer joined the OLMA faculty this school year and has been an invaluable addition to our English and History departments. With a Ph.D. in Medieval and Early Modern Studies, Dr. Grussenmeyer teaches literature (sophomores) and AP U.S. History 2. He also teaches/has taught British History, Western Civilization and U.S. History at Rowan University. Dr. Grussenmeyer is in the process of having his first book published by Cambridge University Press, a serious coup in the world of history teachers/professors!
Dr. Grussenmeyer is thrilled with his teaching position here at OLMA. “I am impressed by the level of engagement of my students as well as the quality of discussions in the classroom,” he said. Well done, Villagers! When Dr. Grussenmeyer is not teaching or rehabbing his “new” historic home with his wife Grace, he can be seen at historic reenactments. This photo was taken at a reenactment in Britain. Welcome to OLMA, Dr. Grussenmeyer!
