Student Spotlight- Ellie McDonough

Ellie McDonough, a junior at OLMA, interned this summer with Congressman Donald Norcross, who represents the first district of New Jersey. She had the opportunity to work firsthand with constituents and to see the issues that face NJ residents. Ellie was the only high school student out of a group of 14 interns who were predominantly college and graduate students. Ellie feels this internship supports her plan to earn a bachelor’s degree in political science and economics with a pre-law focus. She would like to eventually attend law school and practice as a criminal defense attorney while working on the administrative side of politics on Capitol Hill. Congratulations, Ellie!
