Requirements/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics or closely related field required.
  • Master’s degree in the specific subject area or closely related field desirable.
  • Note: courses to be taught may include AP Calculus & Precalculus
  • NJ Teacher Certification and/or prior secondary school teaching experience is desirable.
  • Possesses a desire to reinforce and celebrate the spirit of sisterhood among students, faculty, staff, and alumnae.
  • Demonstrates effective communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills understands the adolescent learner and is flexible and energetic.
  • Demonstrates the ability to confer with parents and students in a cooperative effort to understand the student and to encourage progress.
  • Understands the core values of the school and be willing and able to promote the importance of lifelong learning and sisterhood.  
  • Displays the highest level of ethical and professional behavior and standards.

Teacher of American Sign Language
Part Time High School Teaching Position
