Virtual Open House

Welcome to the first-ever Our Lady of Mercy Academy (OLMA) Virtual Open House! While we look forward to meeting you in person soon, we are excited to tell our story here. OLMA is a sisterhood that offers unconditional acceptance in an environment that celebrates our differences and the unique gifts that God has given us. We are thrilled that you are interested in OLMA.

On Sunday, October 25, we welcomed prospective students and families from all over southern New Jersey to campus for our fall Open House.  After checking in, grabbing a snack, and taking some time to shop for OLMA gear, our guests settled in for a warm welcome from Mrs. Brooke Coyle, Head of School. We also heard from a student about why she chose OLMA for high school.

Next, participants split into groups for the opportunity to tour the campus, learn about OLMA's exceptional academics, and explore the many extracurricular activities available here. Finally, we came together as one group to hear about the vital role that Faith and Service play in the lives of OLMA students, staff, and faculty.

We created the OLMA Virtual Open House to provide all of the information presented on campus -- and then some. We hope you like what you see and want to learn more. If you have any questions, please email us at or call (856) 697-2008, ext. 140. Enjoy!

Front of Campus

Welcome to Our Lady of Mercy Academy (OLMA) located in Newfield, NJ.  OLMA opened in 1962 with freshman and sophomore students, and graduated its first class
in 1964.

Main Entrance

Welcome to the main school entrance!  Just inside, you will find a beautiful main lobby that was expanded and fully renovated in 2016.  The steps leading up to the main entrance are part of many cherished traditions including the first-day-of-freshman-year, moving up, and graduation day
class photos.

Main Lobby

If you are visiting OLMA for a family information session, tour, special event, or shadow day, this is where we will
welcome you!

For OLMA students, the Our Lady of Mercy Chapel is where so many memories are made.  Chapel is home Sisterhood Ceremonies, Junior Ring Mass, National Honor Society inductions, community masses, prayer services, Baccalaureate Mass, and more.   OLMA alumnae can also be
married here.

Student Porch

Welcome to our porch!  Renovated in 2018, the OLMA Porch is a great place to relax, study, spend time with friends, hold class, and more.  It's a cozy home away from home.  The porch is a must-see stop during a visit to campus.

Center for Business

The Center for Business and Collaborative Learning was made possible through a grant from the Ocean First Foundation and a generous donation by an OLMA alumnae family.  Business and L2T courses are held here as we encourage young women to explore opportunities in business -- a career field where women are in demand.

OLMA's state-of-the-art MAC lab was created in 2017 thanks to generous donations from a number of alumnae families.  It is fully equipped with the latest technology and
learning tools.

Large Classroom

Room 200 is one of our newest and largest classrooms.  It is bright, modern, and a student and faculty favorite.

OLMA Cafe (front)

Fully renovated and expanded in 2020, the OLMA Cafe is centrally located on campus and a great place to relax. grab a snack, have lunch, and meet with friends and teammates before or after a game.  This photo shows the main serving and dining areas.

Carew Hall

The Carew Hall gymnasium is home to countless sporting events and all-school assemblies and celebrations.  It is the main feature of the athletic wing of our building and hosts players from many of our 15 competitive sports teams.
