2025 Summer at the Village

"Summer at the Village" captures the spirit of Our Lady of Mercy Academy! OLMA extends a warm invitation to middle school girls and our incoming 9th grade students (and a ceramics camp for high school students!) to partake in a variety of exciting adventures through immersive, hands-on camps. With options spanning STEM, various sports, the arts, and the encompassing Villager Experience, there's something to captivate every camper's interest.

Our flexible scheduling accommodates campers with diverse interests, enabling them to participate in multiple camps and customize their own one-of-a-kind summer experience.

Lunch is included with a registrationfor both a morning and afternoon camp.

Art Camp

This four-day exploration is designed for the camper of any skill level who enjoys making beautiful things, or just wishes to try something new. While there will be some introduction to techniques, the experience focuses on fostering creativity, boosting confidence and having fun.  Girls entering grades 5-8 may register.

S.T.E.M Camp

Join us for a week filled with hands-on learning, creativity, and innovation! Throughout the week, you will explore 3D design, soldering, and acrylic etching. With the help of instructors, you will have the opportunity to design and create your own personalized project, learning the skills of digital modeling, precision soldering, and acrylic etching. At the end of the week, you will get to take home your completed project and show off your newfound knowledge in STEM!  Girls entering grades 5-8 may register.

Villager Experience

Throughout this four day experience, our dedicated faculty and enthusiastic students will organize a diverse range of activities, games, and informational sessions. From leadership workshops to faith reflections, service projects to sisterhood bonding activities, academic insights to artistic explorations, and an abundance of fun and games, every aspect of OLMA life is showcased with passion and enthusiasm. Ceramics is an art form that combines creativity with technical skill, allowing students to express themselves through the manipulation of clay. In our three-day ceramics camp, participants will delve into various techniques, such as hand-building and wheel-throwing, to create their own unique pieces. Each day will focus on different projects, culminating in a return to campus on a scheduled Thursday for an Open Studio/Glaze Time. This glazing session provides an opportunity for students to add finishing touches to their creations, preparing them for the final glazing process.  Girls entering grades 5-12 may register.

Soccer

Lace up your cleats and join us! Our camp offers a dynamic program focused on skill development, teamwork, and fun. Campers will participate in a variety of drills and activities designed to enhance their dribbling, passing, shooting, and defensive skills. We'll also cover game strategies and tactics to help you become a more effective player on the field. Campers should come prepared with cleats, shin guards and water. Girls entering grades 6-9 may register.* 

Volleyball

Tennis is a terrific lifetime activity! Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an intermediate player seeking to refine your technique, our experienced coaches are here to help. Our camp covers all aspects of the game, including serving, forehand and backhand strokes, volleys, and footwork. Campers will be grouped based on skill level, ensuring personalized attention and a supportive learning environment.  Location: Vineland High School Tennis Courts. Girls entering grades 6-9 may register.* 

Softball

Our bowling camp is designed to foster teamwork and sportsmanship while learning to bowl in a fun environment! At the conclusion of each day, participants will receive tokens that can be used for arcade games. Includes rental of shoes. Please water bottle and socks (needed for shoe rental). Location: Bowlero Lanes, Turnersville, NJ.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We understand that plans may change, and in the event a student needs to cancel her registration, please refer to the policy outlined below. Requests for cancellation must be made via email to summer@olmanj.org.

  • Before May 1: Cancellation requests received by May 1 will be eligible for a full refund.

  • After May 1: Cancellation requests are eligible for a refund, minus a $25 administrative fee.

  • Two weeks prior to the start of camp: Cancellations made within 2 weeks of the camp start date may be eligible for a refund if there is a waiting list for the camp, minus the $25 administrative fee. In certain circumstances, such as medical emergencies or injury, exceptions to the policy will be considered. Documentation supporting the reason for cancellation will be required.

  • Should Our Lady of Mercy be forced to cancel a camp for any reason, a full refund will be issued.
