Our Lady of Mercy Academy (OLMA) senior, Morgan Hagerty, was selected as a recipient of Comcast Leaders and Achievers ®  Scholarship Program award.  Funded through the Comcast Foundation, this one-time award in the amount of $1,000 recognizes high school seniors from Comcast communities for their commitment to community service, academics and demonstrated leadership.  Morgan is well-versed in all three.

Morgan serves as President of the OLMA Student Council, Co-Captain of the OLMA Softball team, Co-Caption of the OLMA Volleyball team, and was recently named the Cape Atlantic League’s first-ever Unsung Hero.  As a junior, she earned a $25,000 High School Leadership Award from Widener University.

When not in school, Morgan holds a part-time job working with preschool children and plans to pursue a career in Early Education upon graduation from OLMA this spring.  Morgan lives in Vineland with her parents, Leo and Gina.  Her sister, Madison, is a 2017 graduate of OLMA and attends Rosemont College.

OLMA, located in Newfield, NJ. is South Jersey’s premier Catholic High School for young women.  Through a challenging academic curriculum, diverse extra-curricular program and spirit of sisterhood, students thrive and are forever bonded in faith and friendship.  To learn more visit www.olmanj.org or call (856) 697-2008
