In the last week, two OLMA Alumnae achieved an important milestone in their respective fields of study. Gabriella Capriotti, PA-S (on left), graduated cum laude from Drexel University in three years with her Bachelor Health Science degree. She finished her first year of graduate school with the traditional White Coat Ceremony. The White Coat Ceremony marks the transition between the didactic year and clinical year. She will be on rotations for one year before taking the PENCE test.
Just yesterday, Emma Durham (on right), received her White Coat as part of the “Lighting of the Lamp” ceremony at Notre Dame University of Maryland. Emma is pursuing a career in nursing.
The world of medicine is better for having you both in it. Congratulations to you and your families! You’ve made your sisters proud!
